Recycling
The Recycling page calculates the value of recyclable materials at the end of the bridge's life.
I.1 Overview of Recycling Page
Click Recycling in the left navigation menu. The page contains:
- Summary bar showing total recovered value and count of included items
- "Show Details" toggle to display category-wise breakdown
- Included in Recyclability table
- Excluded from Recyclability table

I.2 Included / Excluded Tables
I.2.1 Included Table
Columns:
- Category (Foundation, Sub-Structure, Super-Structure, Misc)
- Material name
- Quantity and unit
- Recyclability (%)
- Recyclable quantity
- Scrap rate
- Recovered value
- Warning
- Action (edit, exclude)
I.2.2 Excluded Table
Columns:
- Category
- Material name
- Quantity and unit
- Recyclability (%)
- Scrap rate
- Reason (Incomplete Data, Manually Excluded)
- Action (edit, include)
I.3 Editing Recyclability
Click the edit icon next to a material to open the Material Dialog, where you can modify the scrap rate and recovery percentage.
I.4 Toggling Inclusion
Click the exclude icon to remove a material from the calculation; click include to add it back.

I.5 Example Values
For the Sone River Road Bridge, ensure the following materials have recyclability data:
- Reinforcement steel (recovery 90%, scrap rate appropriate for INR)
- Structural steel (if applicable)
